Terrorist Nadal Hassan's judge thrown off case

I saw this story a few days ago and have been stewing over it since then. I wasn't even sure I would write this because it fills me with too much anger to properly express with words.

First off, this Islamic terrorist (just because the White House doesn't call him that doesn't mean the rest of us with a brain won't) has YET to even be properly tried. I mean, his act of terrorism took place in 2009! That's three freakin' years! At this rate, we'll colonize Mars before this trial concludes.

And what is the big holdup? The terrorist's beard.

He's in the Army. The Army doesn't allow beards. He's not allowed to have a beard because he's in the Army.

It's a 2+2=4 thing...and yet, it's caused a delay that makes air travel look speedy by comparison.

He didn't have a problem shaving every day for his entire Army career, yet now he's thrown away his razor in order to be a good Muslim. So was he a bad Muslim for his entire life until now? Was murdering innocent people the event that made him into a good Muslim?

And now the judge who ordered him to shave or be shaved (rightfully so) has been thrown off the case, and the entire beard issue will be brought up again...whenever it is the Army appoints a new judge to the case. All the while our taxpayer dollars go to this farce. But I guess when a terrorist attack is labeled as "workplace violence" by our government leaders, it only makes sense to expect the whole thing to be a clown show.

Full story here.

But at least, as Craig Andresen points out at The National Patriot, the Army just confirmed that it is ok to display religious symbols on government property. Just in time to put up those Christmas displays!

Hillary skipping Benghazi hearings to go wine tasting

America is dead.

The democratic republic that many (too) good people fought and died for is no more, replaced now by a semi-totalitarian government that "wins" elections through massive fraud and where elected officials are no longer accountable for their actions. You don't have to look any further than Hillary Clinton to see that. The Secretary of State (you know, the Department dedicated to Foreign Affairs...Libya counts right?) will be skipping the Congressional hearings on the Benghazi incident in order to "visit friends" in Australia. According to one report, she may even attend a wine tasting event. How nice.

We've reached the point of no return in America, proven to many (including myself) by last weeks "elections." You know, the ones where Obama won certain precincts in places like Philadelphia and Cleveland by an 100% margin. Yeah. Not one person in those places voted for Romney...even by accident. No wonder all those Democrat Elections Supervisors were kicking all Republicans out of those precincts.

And the biggest proof that America is dead is that no one cares. I mean, 4 people lost their lives (2 at least probably unnecessarily) in Benghazi. But with wine to be tasted, why would Hillary need to concern herself with that? She's only probably in line to be the next president. Why would dead Americans matter to her or the majority of Americans? I mean...I didn't know them, so it doesn't matter to me. Now where's my TV guide?? I have WAY more important things to be concerned with than dead Americans and what our leaders have done about it....American Idol is on tonight!

Is a degree from Clown College needed to get into Congress?

So I just watched half an hour of C-SPAN, and other than realizing that I must've just turned 65, I also came to the conclusion that a diploma from a clown college is soon gonna be a requirement for Congress....if it isn't already.

In the Senate, some Republicans stood up and said President Obama and the Senate Democrats are lame and not doing anything. After that, some Democrats got up and said they can't do anything because the Republicans won't let them. Then they went for lunch. (Ok, they didn't really...but they DO go on vacation Friday until mid-November!) What a great job! You don't really have to do anything, and then you can blame it on someone else. Then you go on vacation. We should all be so lucky!

Then in the House, they're discussing the Department of Justice report about the Department of Justice's involvement in the Fast and Furious scandal. Yeah, that's right. The Department of Justice got to investigate itself, and make the official report. Really?? That's like allowing someone charged with a crime to make the case whether they should be convicted or not. What do you think they're gonna say? And the Oversight Committee of the House of Representatives is thanking them for it. "Gee thanks for letting us know you didn't do anything wrong according to yourselves."

I don't think there's a word for this kind of stupidity.
